Camp KEMO at Camp Cole

When Cole was diagnosed with cancer, he and his big sister Kelsey got the chance to attend Camp KEMO, a camp for children who have cancer and their siblings. During a time in their lives where so much was changing, camp allowed them to just be kids. To this day, the memories Kelsey and Cole made at camp are some of her favorites. Years later, Kelsey and Margaret Deans, our Director of Development & Marketing, served as Camp KEMO counselors for over 10 years each. Mike, our Lead Counselor and Head of Morale, was a Camp KEMO camper for multiple years, then later became a counselor. Camp Cole is thrilled to host Camp KEMO this year! Saluda Hill Helps Cole’s Kids Paint Rocks for Epworth Children’s Home

This year, Epworth Children’s Home celebrated its 125th year of serving children who come from stressed family situations. On October 3rd, our Cole’s Kids members heard about Epworth from a representative from the organization, then they painted rocks that will go in Epworth’s new courtyard. This service-learning activity was made possible by Saluda Hill Landscapes.
