Bright Days Ahead
We’re just getting started, but we’ve got big plans for the future! You can expect more from Camp Cole in the coming months and years, including this selection of Phase Two highlights, a combination of new spaces, programs, and opportunities.
Rustin’s Art Shack
What would camp be without a designated space for arts and crafts and other creative activities? Our future Art Shack will be the perfect setting for creative expression. In addition to work space for painting, sketching and making, the Art Shack will include a gallery wall and exhibit space for camper creations and shows.
Fawcett Family Gymnasium
Vital to our expanding campus footprint, our future gym will provide adequate space for organized sports, exercise, and good, old-fashioned recreational fun. What’s more, it will include a large performance stage for talent shows and a canteen with easy access to drinks and snacks!
Outdoor Adventures
From ordinary to extraordinary, our master plan for Outdoor Adventures includes a variety of ultra-accessible options ranging in size and scope. From archery and kickball to scavenger hunts and farming, we want campers to connect with the natural habitat surrounding our campus and learn more about birds, bugs, and where food comes from. We’re planning a High and Low Ropes Challenge Course, a working garden, and a nature trail that’s already gotten its start thanks to a local Boy Scout.
Family Weekends
The healing powers of a Family Weekend can only be described as pure magic. Families will share in camp activities, make connections with other families facing similar life challenges, and experience quality food, fellowship, and some much-needed R&R.
Camp Cole Directed Programs
For individuals not affiliated with a specific camp group, Camp Cole has plans to develop and direct organized weekend and week-long camps. We’re committed to providing quality camp experiences to medically diverse populations not currently being served in our state. Like we always say, everybody deserves the chance to shine!
